In 1983, Sunnyside Shih Tzu is established by Maribel, Eddie and Anna Mae Sy. We concentrated on breeding , showing and upliftment of our favorite breed.
We imported the FIRST PHILIPPINE GRAND CHAMPION SHIH TZU "PHILIPPINE GRAND CHAMPION BENN OF NEW WORLD FOCUS" (JAPAN).
We are the owner of the TOP SHIH TZU FOR 1986,1987, 1988 AND 1989 MULTIPLE BEST IN SHOW PHILIPPINE GRAND/ AMERICAN CHAMPION LOU WAN GUNNING TOOTSIE POP. The FIRST Rebel Rouser son to arrive in the Philippines. No. 1 all time producing sire in the U.S.A. and also FIRST SHIH TZU BITCH who has earned REGISTER OF MERIT (ROM) "GUNNING FANCEE ALL STAR" (USA) and the FIRST Rebel Rouser daughter to arrive in the Philippines.
My mom is the only Filipina who have handled and won at CANADIAN NATIONALS.
Our kennel boast as the only shih tzu kennel in the Philippines to have owner-handler several BACK TO BACK BEST IN SHOWS...
We only keep limited number of dogs in our home. They are raised, loved and treated like part of our family.
Our Dogs has been very succesfully exported and shown in United States and Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Hong kong and Indonesia.
All our dogs are PCCI registered and can be Registered with AKC, CKC, AKU and All FCI member countries.
I am also a member of Canadian Shih Tzu Club.
